Horse appraisal in Pennsylvania.
Our team appraises horses all over Pennsylvania, and in every other state besides. We see mostly hunter/jumpers and Standardbreds here, though plenty of driving horses cross the desk too, and the process doesn't change from one to the next.
Pennsylvania has a long list: Delaware Valley University, Wilson College, Penn State, and therapy centers in most counties.
Questions we get about Pennsylvania
- How do you value a driving horse or a hitch pair?
- On soundness, temperament in harness, and work history. Show record matters less than proof the horse does the job, so video of the horse working is the most useful thing you can send.
- Do you appraise Standardbreds?
- Yes. Racing Standardbreds are valued on race record, earnings, and breeding, and retired ones on their suitability for the second career they're actually going to have.
