Questions we get about Kentucky
- Do Keeneland results set the value of our horse?
- They set the evidence. If a genuinely comparable horse sold at public auction, that sale is hard to argue with, which helps when the number is favorable and hurts when it isn't. We show the sales either way.
- Do you appraise broodmares and stallion shares?
- Yes. Those are valued on produce record and on nomination demand rather than on performance, so the documents we ask for are different from a competition horse.
