Horse appraisal in Maryland.
From Thoroughbreds to eventers, our appraisers know what a horse is worth in Maryland. Stier Horse is ASEA-certified and has been appraising horses nationwide for years.
Maryland has plenty of 501(c)3 therapeutic riding programs, and several colleges here field riding teams that take donated hunters and equitation horses.
Questions we get about Maryland
- How is a timber horse valued?
- On its record over timber, its age, and its soundness. It is a small market with knowledgeable buyers, and the comparables have to come from inside it.
- Does an off-track Thoroughbred keep any racing value?
- Very little once it has retired. Its value comes from the new job, so we compare it with other off-track horses at the same stage of retraining.
