Horse appraisal in Louisiana.
Our team appraises horses all over Louisiana, and in every other state besides. We see mostly racehorses and AQHA horses here, though plenty of ranch horses cross the desk too, and the process doesn't change from one to the next.
LSU has a collegiate riding team in Baton Rouge, and therapy programs around Louisiana welcome donation horses.
Questions we get about Louisiana
- Is a horse appraisal different in a Louisiana succession?
- The standard of value is the same. The terms and the paperwork around it differ, so we use the language the succession uses and date the value to the date of death.
- How do you value a Quarter Horse racing prospect?
- On pedigree first, because sire and dam results are most of the evidence at that age. Conformation and any official works come next, and the report says plainly that it's valuing potential.
