Horse appraisal in Michigan.
Our team appraises horses all over Michigan, and in every other state besides. We see mostly Arabians and hunter/jumpers here, though plenty of AQHA horses cross the desk too, and the process doesn't change from one to the next.
Michigan State and Albion College both have equestrian programs, and therapy centers around Michigan take donation horses too.
Questions we get about Michigan
- Does a Michigan winter affect our horse's value?
- It thins the market. Fewer people are trying horses in January and sales slow, which is exactly why the report states an effective date, so a winter number and a summer number are never confused.
- Do you appraise Arabians in Michigan?
- Yes, against Arabian sales and Arabian show results. Arabians are priced in their own world, and stock horse or sport horse comparables would not describe them.
