Certified equine appraisers, on every side of a donation.

Lindsey Stier founded the practice. She rode for the University of Georgia's NCAA championship team on horses that came to the program as donations, then ran the western riding program at a boarding school that took donation horses from around the country, deciding on the other side of the table whether a donated horse was any use.

As assistant editor at the National Reining Horse Association's Reiner magazine she found out how little anyone had written about horse donation, and started Stier Horse Appraisal to fix that.

We have completed hundreds of appraisals since, and the practice is a team now: a second certified appraiser and a client coordinator work on every file. We work to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and to IRS regulations, across breeds and disciplines, in all fifty states.
